Appointment Policies:​

Please arrive early or on-time.

If you are late by a significant amount of the service time, I will do what I can, but I cannot guarantee the service.
Please do not be habitually late or no-show. Accidents happen and I am nothing if not understanding. But within reason, please.

I can and will fit additional services, trimming, extractions in so long as they do not make me late for my next client.
Euphoric Sugar has a 24 - hour in advance cancellation policy. Clients who cancel within that period or no-show will be given one OOPS! and then will be charged 50% of the service fee(s) thereafter.

​Pre and Post Care:
Clean, recently (48 hours) exfoliated skin is the best workspace for me to do my job.
Some people choose to take an over-the-counter pain reliever - but I am not a doctor and cannot prescribe medication for you.
After your service, your skin should be kept clean, cool, and free of bacteria or any activity which might compromise the healing process and the natural closing of the follicles.

                                      THE CASE FOR SUGARING 

           SAFE, SANITARY, SUSTAINABLE, SUPERIOR SUSTAINABLE

Safe

• ​​It's not hot - it can't burn you - it's just warmed to make it soft enough to spread on the skin
  
• It attaches to the dead skin - not the live skin - so it gives a deep exfoliation
• Bruising and lifted live skin is EXTREMELY RARE
• Clients report little-to-no recovery time for their skin after a service
• Safe for those with sensitivity issues
  
• Sugar paste is made from sugar, water and vitamin C. It is completely biodegradable
• The gloves I use are also biodegradable, as are my trash bags, making my studio as close to No Waste as possible
• The sugar I use is both USDA Certified Organic and FAIR TRADE
• The cane is sustainably harvested, meaning NO GREENHOUSE GAS pollution from crop burning
• The quantity of garbage compared to wax is infinitesimal
• Wax is a petrochemical/Sugar Paste is 100% natural

SUPERIOR:

• Your hairs can be significantly shorter than wax - a mere 1/16"-1/8"
  
• Sugar can go over the same spot repeatedly, so it gives a more thorough service
  
• Hairs are removed IN THE DIRECTION of hair growth, removing the bulb itself, so clients see a more dramatic reduction in the hairs that return
  
• It is much harder to lift live skin or bruise the client
  
• Clients who cannot wax due to sensitive skin can almost universally tolerate sugaring
  
• There is an overwhelmingly high conversion rate to sugaring from former waxing clients
  

SANITARY:

• Each ball of sugar used on a client is SINGLE USE - NO DOUBLE DIPPING AND NO CROSS CONTAMINATION
  
• The paste itself is anti-bacterial
  
• Professionals in the medical field universally prefer sugar to wax for its safety and sanitation
  
• The pots are kept covered so there is no chance of dust, insects, hairs contaminating the paste

Contraindications:​
A contraindication is a medical condition, medication, recent procedure, or the like that would make a hair removal service risky or downright dangerous.
Such as:

Taking medications that thin the skin, make the skin sun-sensitive, or a product that deeply exfoliates (such as Retin-A) Recent physician-administered chemical peels Recent tanning (from the sun or in a bed)
Medical conditions (untreated diabetes, STDs) Blood disorders (HIV, hemophilia, etc) Skin disorders (Psoriasis, open wounds, blistering, keloid scarring) Instant/easy bruising
